Issues with carconnectivity 0.11.5

Hello,
I have some issues/open questions with regard to carconnecticity 0.11.5:

1. Which database should i use in carconnectivity.json, postgres.db (as indicated by the grafana plugin) or sqlite (as indicated by the database plugin)? At the moment I am using postgres.db, but sometimes grafana is not showing data at all, sometimes it works...
2. The log file shows the error message
   "carconnectivity.plugins.webui - ERROR - Cannot load UI of plugin Database Plugin. Probably the plugin is incompatible with this Version of WebUI and needs an update: name 'bp_database_edit' is not defined"
3. How can I use homekit in this version via docker? Setting "network_mode: host" is not possible with the current docker-compose.yml provided in the grafana-plugin.
4. Unfortunately, some packages seem to be old when using docker-compose.yml (even when using option "ADDITIONAL_INSTALLS=--pre"), e.g., database (CarConnectivity: 0.11.5, volkswagen: 0.10.1, database: 0.3
   mqtt: 0.9.1, abrp: 0.8.1, homekit: 0.7.4, webui: 0.7, mqtt_homeassistant: 0.6.1).

Yea, it's not that smooth yet. But we'll get it better documented...

1. Database should be postgres. I first thought going with SQLite to make the setup a bit easier, but it lacks some features that make the world easier, so I went back to postgres.
2. The reason could be also the outdated packages (see 4)
3. I need more background on this one, why is network_mode: host not working? In my setup I'm using macvlan, but it should work with host too. Maybe I just have a typo in my example?
4. Can you try to add --upgrade where you have the --pre? Maybe this will convince it to do an upgrade.

Thank you, the error message in 2 disappeared when adding "--upgrade".

Regarding 3, I tried to modify the docker-compose.yml provided in the grafana-plugin adding "network_mode: host" but the provided config example was to complex for me :-(. Could you please provide an updated example of this file using "network_mode: host"?

I haven't tested it, but this should be hopefully close to what is needed to put carconnectivity in host mode and the rest in briged network (because host mode is only needed for carconnectivity with HomeKit)

it worked, but I had to change/add the following things:

and in postgresdb:

- "${DB_PORT-5432}:${DB_PORT-5432}"

Nevertheless, I have the impression, that old data in grafana is deleted or at least not shown when redeploying the stack. How can I prevent data loss in the databases? Interestingly, the containers carconnectivity_data, postgresdb_data and grafana_data were not recreated when redeploying the stack...

Changing "postgresdb_data:/var/lib/postgresql" to "postgresdb_data:/var/lib/postgresql/data" seems to have solved the problem of data loss.

Yes sorry, please use Postgres 18 not 13 with the path I provided. 13 is too old. That was wrong on my side!
