Documentation: Screencast is not available

Hey there,

I wanted to let you know that the screencast you link to in the User Documentation requires signing in and verifying the age as it's hosted on Vimeo and "unrated". I could imagine that rating it or uploading the video to a different video hosting service solves the issue?

Disclaimer: I didn't find this myself, but someone posted it on Mastodon. I just thought: Hey, why not let you know so that you have a chance to make it better? That's the story behind this issue :)

Thanks for letting us know! Vimeo's age verification is indeed a hassle and very user-unfriendly; I just went through it 🫤. I think only @ginatrapani can change the settings, as it's been uploaded under her account. At 5.8 MB, it could be checked in directly to this repo as a quick fix. However, as the video is very old and recorded in only 360p, we might as well get rid of it altogether.

The GIF in the readme basically shows the same commands, but a bit quicker and without any embedded explanations. I would prefer a modern screencast, maybe in Asciinema, but the whole project unfortunately has been languishing for quite some time, with no active driver. I'm more or less the only person who's trying to reply to every post in this todo.txt-cli repo in a timely manner 🥹
