Usage policy that changes with time of day

Hi all,

I'm wondering if there is a way to implement a usage policy for a tool which changes based on the time of day. For instance, I have a tool where we would like to set the following usage policies:

Monday to Saturday:

• Midnight - 7 AM: 7 h maximum bookable slot
• 7 AM - 7 PM: 30 min max bookable slot

Sunday, all day:

• 4 h max bookable slot.

This is just an example, but the general idea is to have very granular usage policies. Thanks in advance!

Hello,
You cannot exactly do that, but you can set the 30min max during business hours and have the policy off completely from 7pm to 7am the next day.

To have maximum flexibility, we would need to move the policy rules to a separate table and have a tool be able to have multiple policies with different times, and dealing with overlapping policies and precedence.

There is no plan to add this currently, but PRs are always welcomed.
