'wow' exits with code 127 (but still works perfectly)

As the title says, 'wow' exits with code 127

~/ $ wow
✘ ~/ $ echo $?
127

However note that everything still works properly

From what I understand, this is because the command 'wow' is not found, and this text is hidden by hyper.
