What about changing the model so that an user can only participate at one quest/adventure at the same time. This would enable a more player oriented approach which can improve the identification of the players with the game. It makes decisions important, because every decision is not only a decision for anything, but also against something, so that we have a more consistent story line and player's interactions are more relevant for the game flow.
That implies, that you are one person/ character. And as well as a character can only fight one battle at a time, sonarquest should be more player centric.
Oh, I could imagine races and cratures that can clone and fight more than one battle (just like it is right now, but this is part of a future issue... π
