Question About Current Status of API

Hi!

I am interested in the current capabilities of this project and have two main questions:

• How secure would this API be in reading RFID chips in credit cards relative to, for example, Stripe's "Tap To Pay" Service?

• Support seems to really only be available for Google Chrome for Android. Can support for this API be enabled in other browsers like Safari? (It is not clear in mdn web docs)
