Black screen

Hi,

I copied the melody_machine binary to SD/downloads/melody_machine.bin

Then i tried to flash it from the Launcher firmware and all I have after is a black screen.

I believe after reading the README that the binary is only flashable at the address 0x10000, that's why I can't flash it from Launcher.

If that's correct, could you provide the merged binary with all addresses (partitions, bootloader and firmware) in the releases section ?

Thanks for reporting this.

Yes, you are right - the current melody_machine.bin is intended to be flashed directly at 0x10000, so flashing it from the Launcher alone can result in a black screen because the required bootloader / partition data is not included in that binary.

I’m working on improving Launcher flashing support.

For now, the firmware works correctly when flashed directly.
There is also a flasher in the repo for this: melody_flasher.py

Looks like it will be an awesome app for the Pager. I'm also anxiously awaiting a Launcher Compatible version.
