Slow to save

I notice that many times it takes 4-5 seconds for notes to save since I stop writing. 

The 'Saving...' label stays there for 4-5 seconds until it becomes 'Saved locally.'

This is annoying because if i want to quickly close the tab I'd lose my changes as they do not get saved immediately.
