Feature Request: Control of Backup Client

I would like to feature request as below:

1. trigger backup set run or stop in duplistatus
2. change configuration of backup set in duplistatus
3. add backup server direct URL (http://xxxx.com:8200) in duplistatus in order to control or amend the backup configuration

Thank you for using duplistatus and suggesting new features. I appreciate your input and will take it into consideration for future versions. I'd like to provide some initial thoughts on your suggestions:

1. start is more likely to be implemented, while stop may be more complex than expected, as it would require retrieving the current status from Duplicati. I will check on this.
2. It's likely that I will implement the function to save the current scheduling configuration from Settings > Overdue monitoring into the Duplicati server.

• A full backup configuration will be redundant with the Duplicati configuration interface and is somewhat outside the scope of duplistatus, which is a monitoring tool.

• Which aspects of the backup configuration are you considering changing? With this information, I can check it out better.

3. I was already considering implementing this as part of the backup log collection process, adding another checkbox to the collection popup and an additional action to the Settings > Server page.

Hi, thanks for your prompt reply. I was thinking to link all duplicati server into duplistatus server with vpn, from there we have a unique vpn ip address to access each backup server webgui.

That’s why I suggest whether from duplistatus can send command via api to duplicati server to amend the backup job configuration, start stop, delete job and etc.
