add intermediate steps where only the trailing / is removed

Thank you for this extension,
After step (3) https://www.example.com/foo/
can you please add step https://www.example.com/foo (where trailing / is removed)
before step (4) https://www.example.com/ ?

Some websites redirect /foo to /foo/. Applying the “cut trailing /” behavior to such websites would result in a redirect back to the original URL.
Therefore, the behavior has been removed before (see: #2) and will not be reimplemented. Sorry.

FYI: I use Ctrl + L → (right cursor) Back Space to do that operation :-)

Rhank you for quick reply,What about an option toggle in settings or a 2nd button for that behavior? With websites that don't return these redirections too fast, it may also be possible to workaround them by clicking twice quicly on the button.
