JDTLS fails to download (Windows 11)

What happened?

When downloading the extension it attempts to install JDTLS and the following error message is show.

Language server jdtls:

from extension "Java" version 6.8.5: failed to get latest version's build: failed to fetch 'https://download.eclipse.org/jdtls/milestones/1.55.0/latest.txt': status code 404 Not Found

What did you expect to happen?

JDTLS to be downloaded

Thanks for reporting.

Apparently Eclipse foundation from this version has not released the latest.txt file we are relying on to download the language server.

Last version with latest.txt

Current version

While working on a fix you can bypass the download by setting

"check_updates": "once" or "never"
