Data retention period consideration in Phase 2
This version adds data retention as a factor to determine the risk level in Phase 2, as well as CARAF calculator updates with the question changes in CARAF 3.2.
Simplification of CARAF Phase 1 questions Latest
This version simplifies CARAF Phase 1 questions:
- All questions are now under one category.
- All questions have consistent scoring: "Yes" means +1.
PQBench 1.1: New performance evaluation metrics
This release focuses on adding new metrics:
- Computational performance metrics: shared key derivation time.
- Memory performance metrics: key size, signature size, and memory consumption.
- Compound metrics: certificate throughput, TLS throughput.
Additionally, we also added more details to the types (i.e., signature and KEM) and list of PQC algorithms.
PQBench 1.0: Performance evaluation with PQBench
This release focuses on PQBench, a performance evaluation tool and guide that offer a curated collection of cryptographic use cases, each mapped to relevant evaluation metrics tailored for Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC).
It provides:
- A categorized list of cryptographic use cases.
- Mappings between use cases and appropriate evaluation metrics.
- Practical guidance on selecting metrics based on deployment context.
- Step-by-step instructions for measuring system performance post-migration.
Phase simplification & CARAF calculator
This CARAF 2.0 release includes:
- Simplification of CARAF phases from 5 phases into 3 phases to allow for clearer definitions of each phase, input, output, and actionable items.
- CARAF calculator that demonstrates the risk assessment process.
CARAF first release
This release includes the 5 phases of CARAF with knowledge base that includes articles related to PQC migration.
