Description
Merge main into development branch to align with the latest state of the repo.
What changed
Most of the changes in this merge were package versioning, refactoring and removing unused code and update package imports.
These changes are mostly to address the errors or warnings during the release of 0.3.0.
Why the changes are needed
By merging those updates to development, all the dev team and their current work will align with the main repo changes and future releases will have a matured based to start from
How to validate the changes
Mostly will be manual review.
