Starting with Beta 0.6.6, NeoStation is no longer available on the Google Play Store. To provide optimal performance and full file system access (required for ROM scanning and NeoSync), we now require the "Manage External Storage" permission, which is restricted for Play Store apps.

New Features

Android TV File Explorer: Built-in file explorer with RetroArch-style navigation for Android TV and Google TV. This fixes a critical error where ROM or directory selection was not possible on devices lacking a native file picker.
Android Auto-Update: Native in-app updates are now fully operational for Android, matching the seamless experience of our desktop versions.
NeoSync Visibility: Screen elements related to NeoSync will now be hidden if the device is not connected to a NeoSync account.
Enhanced UI Logic: Systems incompatible with RetroAchievements or ScreenScraper will no longer display related icons or options, ensuring a cleaner interface.
Android App Grid: The Android system view now displays installed applications in a clean grid layout for better visibility.
Optimized Setup: Improved the initial configuration flow when skipping ROM scanning, ensuring Android apps are correctly detected and displayed immediately.
ROM list naming: Per-system Always show ROM file name, when on, the list always uses the name derived from the file (with your hide-extension / parentheses / brackets preferences). When off, a ScreenScraper real name can appear as the main title when available; otherwise the file-based name is used. Setting is stored per system and included in database upgrades for new and existing installs.
System View Modes: Added a toggle in the Systems view to switch between Grid and Carousel layouts, providing more flexibility in how you browse your collection.
Sorting & Ordering: Implemented Sort By and Order functionality directly within the Systems view for improved library management.
UI Streamlining: Removed the redundant View Mode option from General Settings, as layout preferences are now managed from systems view.
New Color Palettes: Added two new color palettes, RGC and TW, providing more customization options for the interface.

Bug Fixes

Fixed navigation SFX playing twice when browsing with a gamepad.
Fixed empty systems appearing in the list when recursive scan is enabled.
Prevented device screen from turning off during active scraping sessions.
Fixed "New Content Only" scraping mode incorrectly processing all ROMs.
Individual game scraping now correctly uses "All Content" mode.
Improved NeoSync session persistence to prevent accidental logouts during device reboots or offline startup.
Improved emulator detection to prevent background music from playing while standalone games or launchers are active.
