I could reproduce this issue #1170 and it made me remember the exact same problem with a Rails release (https://rubyonrails.org/2023/8/22/Rails-Versions-7-0-7-2-6-1-7-6-have-been-released).
I am still not sure what happened because I have never touched the permissions on my filesystem 😭 We'll have to publish a new gem to fix it. I created the package without doing the actual release and it all looks good! 🤞🏻
