| The following table lists Cilium features and notes which of those features are supported by AWS with the default EKS Anywhere Cilium version, which features are available in upstream Open Source Cilium, and which require Cilium Enterprise. If you plan to use functionality outside the scope of AWS support, we recommend obtaining alternative commercial support for Cilium or have the in-house expertise to troubleshoot and contribute fixes to the Cilium project. |

If customers need features that Cilium Enterprise provides, we can recommend that option. Otherwise, the EKS Anywhere Cilium version will be the same as the open source version. Customers can still use EKS Anywhere Cilium; however, we cannot support functionalities outside of our scope.
