I don't see any harm, but could you add an example of how you would actually do this in thedocumentation?

Where would be the best to put the example? In the readme, cgic.html or in the code? I think the simplest way to use it is to add |

I would suggest both, but the README is probably far more frequently consulted these days. Your example of usage is fine. |
