Adult games serviced in Korea are legally required to show content information. |
I understand, but why does it need to be displayed on the FiveM server list? It's already displayed on Steam, Epic Games, etc., when purchasing GTA5. Is FiveM a separate game? No. |
|
Servers in other countries do not display their respective country ratings. Isn't it strange that only Korea has this? Since the game itself, GTA5, explicitly states “Not for minors” at the point of purchase, I don't think there's any need to display this hideous rating on the FiveM server list. |

In Korea, the specific methods of providing indications are prescribed by law, so those guidelines must be followed. These indications weren't present in FiveM before, but GRAC has requested the developers to include them to resolve legal non-compliance. GRAC response at the time (translation):

It is a legal requirement and will stay. |
Goal of this PR
South Korea has a body called the “Game Rating and Administration Committee” that reviews game ratings, and this applied to GTA5. Everyone downloading GTA5 is aware that its game rating is “Restricted to Adults Only.” Since those who download GTA5 also download FiveM, there is no reason for this legal rating to appear on the server list. Only in Korea is this legal rating displayed on the server list, which is quite stupid and looks bad. So I completely removed that feature, which someone added two years ago.
