EmiSwitch v0.1.0

Initial public release of EmiSwitch: an Electron-ready local control board for port health, port clearing, ZIP app installs, and pairing apps to healthy free ports.

Highlights

  • macOS supported as the primary tested local desktop environment.
  • Windows & Linux in progress via the Electron desktop path.
  • Port health checks for managed local ports.
  • Clear / unassign ports and verify they are free and bindable.
  • Install app bundles from ZIPs, including Replit exports or other ZIP sources.
  • Pair Mode: select a free port, pick an app, and bind it.
  • Match any app to any healthy free port, with fallback when the requested port is not viable.
  • Runtime controls for local check, kill, and restart paths.
  • Local-first inspectability with visible board state, logs, and pairing feedback.

Notes

This is an early open-source release. EmiSwitch is working and useful today, but still rough around the edges: external testing, Windows/Linux packaging, naming polish, and ZIP/runtime hardening are still in progress.
