How to batch customize labels ?

If you need to set dozens of labels properties, just batch modify the attributes to save time!

You can use a combo of selection and /or conditionnal expressions with Field Calculator.

For instance, you want all labels on the left to be red, and the other to be blue and rotated by 120°. Just select labels by hand with select clic and drag tools, and open field calculator.

Choose "Only update selected features" and update existing field "LblColor" and set it up to '#ff0000'

Then invert selection, and do two updates:

  • LblColor = '#55aa00'
  • LblRot = 120

and save:
