The OSINT framework is focused on gathering information from free tools or resources. SpotThem appears to be a paid tool and doesn't meet these requirements. |
Ok, I did not know that requirement. Since Osint Industries and few other paid tools are already in the list, I added this |
Also, why not make a new category for paid tools too. The tool can be marked (P) or something like that? |
No worries. Going through a bit of a renewal on things. A lot of previously free tools have shifted over to paid and it's an effort to review everything to catch the changes. I can consider paid tools with a callout like you suggested. Previously I have avoided it due to the original goals of the framework and that generally the paid tools are easy to find with a quick google search while the free ones hide in the background. |

I should also clarify that freeium tools have been allowed as well, although less preferred than truly free. |
