Adds Registry Lookup to
Business Records>Company Profiles, alongside OpenCorporates.Disclosure: I work for Veridion, which operates Registry Lookup. Flagging up front.
Eligibility: the site is publicly available and free to use, with no account or paywall on search.
What it is: a free aggregator of official corporate registry data covering 479 million+ legal entities across 309 jurisdictions in 244 countries. Entity records expose legal name, registry number, jurisdiction code, status, incorporation date, legal form, registered address, and tax/VAT identifiers where the source registry publishes them.
Why it fits this category: it resolves a name or registry number to a registered legal entity across jurisdictions in one query, rather than requiring a pass through each national register. Sub-national jurisdictions (US states, Canadian provinces, Swiss cantons) are individually addressable, which is why the jurisdiction count (309) exceeds the country count (244).
