This repository contains my personal configuration files used for my programming environment. I like keeping things minimal but functional, so everything here is tuned for comfort, efficiency, and just enough personality to keep me sane.
ThinkPad T480
One thing for me is I have a soft spot for ThinkPads especially the older ones. There’s something about their simplicity, repairability, and durability that just makes sense for my dumb brain. And the keyboard? Still one of the best. I’m still currently using a T480 (yes, from 2018 and still going strong). One feature I genuinely appreciate is the PowerBridge dual-battery system: an internal battery paired with a removable external one. In practice, that means I can comfortably push past 8 hours of usage without worrying too much.
Debian 13 (Trixie)
Debian remains my distro of choice. It’s one of the oldest and most respected Linux distributions for a reason: stability, minimalism, and full control. On this T480, Debian runs exceptionally well with smooth performance, solid battery efficiency, and no unnecessary distractions. Just a clean, focused environment where I can get things done without fighting my operating system. Also, I will never get tired of the Toy Story naming scheme. That alone might be worth a few extra loyalty points.
