METS 1.7 Change Requests

Please start the title of Change Requests for version 1.7 (Göttingen) of the METS Schema with "CR 1.7" and then a terse description of the request.

subject to the [schema revision process], these changes will be decided on by the METS Editorial Board at the meeting May 2007 in Göttingen, Germany. These meetings will now be open to the public.

Proposal requirements: statement of change, description of solution, reasons/use case for the request.

When your proposal is ready, you can mail it to the METS list directly from the wiki (if you are subscribed to the METS list with the same email). Proposals must be sent to the METS list to give the community a chance to give feedback on the change.
