This PR takes inspiration from the draft roadmap defined in
docs/roadmap-draft.mdto define an up-to-date roadmap (still in mermaid style).It also introduces two Python 3 scripts to convert back-and-forth between mermaid syntax and a CSV syntax, in which extra information about the roadmap can be added, in particular related PRs and progress. So the idea is to maintain the CSV file, and use it to regenerate the mermaid diagram.
Progress data can be used to display progress bar on the mermaid nodes, see
convert_csv_to_mermaid.py.
