Terms of Service

Welcome to GLACÉ ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading or using the GLACÉ mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
GLACÉ is a communication utility designed to help users process emotional input and generate structured, diplomatic responses ("Social Armor"). The App provides features including:
- Shadow Translator: Converting raw input into refined text options.
- Orbit Keeper: Scheduling reminders for social re-engagement.
- The Vault: Local storage of past interactions.
We prioritize your privacy. GLACÉ is designed as a local-first application:
- On-Device Processing: Your "Shadow Input" (raw voice/text) and generated responses are stored locally on your device. We do not store your personal conversations on our servers.
- Speech Recognition: We use Apple's local Speech Recognition API. Your voice data is processed on your device and is not uploaded to our cloud for storage.
- AI Processing: To generate responses, anonymized text data is sent to our LLM (Large Language Model) provider. This data is not used to train the model and is discarded after processing.
You are responsible for your use of the App. You agree not to use the App to:
- Generate content that promotes hate speech, violence, harassment, or illegal acts.
- Infringe upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
- Attempt to reverse engineer the App's source code.
User Responsibility for Messages: > GLACÉ provides suggested text options ("Cold," "Neutral," "Warm"). You are solely responsible for the final message you choose to send to third parties. We are not liable for the consequences of your social interactions (e.g., relationship breakups, employment termination) resulting from the use of our generated text.
- No Professional Advice: GLACÉ is a productivity tool, not a mental health service or crisis intervention tool. It is not a substitute for professional therapy or psychological counseling.
- Accuracy: The App uses artificial intelligence to generate text. AI may occasionally produce incorrect, offensive, or nonsensical responses ("hallucinations"). You should always review the generated text before sending it.
GLACÉ offers a "Pro" subscription ("Unfreeze Access") via Apple's In-App Purchase system.
- Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings.
- Refunds: All refund requests must be handled directly through Apple Support.
The GLACÉ name, the "Cube with Fracture" logo, and the interface design are trademarks and copyright of the GLACÉ development team. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App's design assets without permission.
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GLACÉ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the App.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
