On the releases page, look for the most recent release. It usually appears at the top of the list. You should find a file with a name similar to:
- symbi-claude-code-setup.exe
- or another .exe file labeled as the setup or installer
Click on the file to start downloading. Your browser will ask if you want to save the file. Choose a location you can easily find, like your desktop or Downloads folder.
Once the file downloads, go to its location and double-click the .exe file. This will run the installer program.
The installer will guide you through simple steps:
- Accept the license agreement
- Choose an install location (the default usually works fine)
- Click “Install” to start
The installer copies the files and sets up symbi-claude-code on your PC.
After installation completes, you can open the app:

You can find the data folder in your Documents under “symbi-claude-code” unless you changed the location during setup.
- Restart your PC and try again.
- Check Task Manager to see if symbi-claude-code is running in the background and close it before relaunching.
- Refresh the download page or try a different browser.
- Make sure your internet connection is stable.
- Disable third-party antivirus temporarily and retry.
- Run the installer as Administrator by right-clicking the file and selecting "Run as Administrator."
