port our custom code to the upstream zephyr driver to make maintenance easier

Known difference: CHOPCONF tuning (TOFF=5, HSTRT=4, HEND=1, TBL=2) is not configurable via the Zephyr DT binding. The Zephyr driver uses TOFF=0xF on enable. Motor will work but may have different noise characteristics - can be addressed via upstream DT support later.
