Server Addon: DOCman

Description

A document held in DOCman.

When to choose it: Sites using DOCman to manage downloads.

How to Access

Components → Proclaim → Servers → New, then choose DOCman in the server type picker.

Note

The server type cannot be changed after the server is created. To switch platforms later, create a new server and move media across with Administration → Server Migration.

Set Up the Server

1. Optionally set the DOCman Base URL, used to resolve relative document links.
2. Save & Close.

Add a Media File

1. Enter the document URL.
2. Choose whether to Show Download Icon, and set the Mime Type.
3. Save & Close.

No credentials needed

This addon has no API key or OAuth level. Paste a URL and it works.

Fields on the server

Field	What it is for
DOCman Base URL	Your site's DOCman base URL (optional, used for resolving relative document links)
Choose a Mime Type	If you can't find the mime type here, please refer to Mime type standards W3C.

Fields on a media file

Field	What it is for
DOCman Document URL	Enter the DOCman document download URL
Show Download Icon	Download icon can be hidden, shown in conjunction with media, or only the download icon.

Display settings shared by every addon
