Server Addon: Resi

Description

Live streams and recordings on Resi.io.

When to choose it: Churches streaming through Resi, especially multi-site.

How to Access

Components → Proclaim → Servers → New, then choose Resi in the server type picker.

Note

The server type cannot be changed after the server is created. To switch platforms later, create a new server and move media across with Administration → Server Migration.

What you get at each level

Level You supply You get
1 Nothing Paste a Resi video or stream URL; it embeds and plays
2 Account ID, client ID and secret Connection testing against your Resi account

Resi has no description sync, statistics or playlist support in Proclaim.

Set Up the Server

  1. Choose Resi as the type, give the server a name, and Save & Close.

That is enough. Resi videos and live streams embed and play from their URL with no credentials at all.

Optional — connect your Resi account

Only needed if you want Proclaim to talk to the Resi API.

  1. In your Resi dashboard, find your Account ID — it also appears in your live stream URL.
  2. Create API credentials to get a Client ID and Client Secret.
  3. Paste all three into the form.
  4. Select Test Connection and confirm it succeeds.
  5. Save & Close.

Add a Media File

  1. Paste the URL of the Resi video or live stream.
  2. Set player options — controls, loop, start position.
  3. Save & Close.

Tip

Resi is often paired with YouTube: Resi does the streaming, YouTube holds the recording. If that is your setup, set the YouTube server's stream mode to External.
